Past events have included collaboration with Linda P. Epstein, a New York City literary agent. The long weekend provides workshops to delve deeper into your writing, one on one consultations about your work, delicious food, the company of other writers who are serious about their writing, dinner and conversation with some of the top experts in publishing and writing. Yoga is an integral part of the experience and is offered 2x per day on each full retreat day.  The 2017 retreat will be a brand new format, with more of everything that participants love about our smaller retreats. From Previous Writing Yoga Retreat participants…

“I wanted to spend time with writers and with my work… I think I’m leaving with a little more confidence in myself and in the piece I’m working on.” ~P. Jones (Blog post about the retreat here.)

“I was able to write 6,500 words with peace and quiet. I was able to quiet my mind so characters could be more present and plot points reveal themselves. I was able to be a WRITER for the weekend. And I loved doing the yoga… I think it helped to open me up.” ~N. Sinel (Blog post about the retreat here.)

“I just loved the whole vibe of the weekend, the interplay of yoga and writing. The thing I might love most about yoga is it teaches me to be present, to stay here and now. I get so bad at that, especially when I don’t practice it, and I think engaging in that frame of mind carries off the mat to the writing space. It did for me, here, anyway.” ~S. Kraemer (Blog post about the retreat here.)
