A typical Writing Yoga® experience includes relaxation exercises, yoga, journal writing, healthy vegetarian meals, supportive feedback, aromatherapy, and tips and tools for ways to continue nurturing yourself at home. WRITING YOGA® LIBRARY WORKSHOPS Throughout the year, one or two hour workshops and/ or workshop series are offered for children and adults. Participating libraries have included, The Bryant Library in Roslyn, NY, The Glen Cove Library and the West Hempstead Public Library. New dates posted soon.
WRITING YOGA® STAFF CLASSES AT THE OMEGA INSTITUTE IN RHINEBECK, NY Since 2011, Stefanie has been teaching staff classes for one-two weeks during the summer at the Omega Institute. It has been the highlight of the summer to work with the dedicated and talented staff members at Omega. Read more about Omega here.
WRITING YOGA® RETREATS AT THE GLEN COVE MANSION 2017 A Writing Yoga Retreat is a unique writing experience where you receive inspiration and opportunities to explore your work in progress. Past events have included collaboration with Linda P. Epstein, a New York City literary agent. The long weekend provides workshops to delve deeper into your writing, one on one consultations about your work, delicious food, the company of other writers who are serious about their writing, dinner and conversation with some of the top experts in publishing and writing. Yoga is an integral part of the experience and is offered 2x per day on each full retreat day. The 2017 retreat will be a brand new format, with more of everything that participants love about our smaller retreats. Check back for details!
